I don’t need to convince you of the importance of believing in yourself. You already know that.
But if there’s a question I get more frequently than others it’s this: HOW do I believe in myself more? HOW do I believe in my ability to achieve something I’ve never done before? HOW do I believe in myself especially on days when my goal seems impossible?
This is probably my favorite topic to coach on because of my own journey with self-belief. Almost four years ago, I set the goal to win my age group in an Ironman without any Ironman podiums to my name. That year I transformed who I was as an athlete. I began to build the radical self-belief I needed in order to go after a goal that seemed impossible at first. Eventually the goal no longer seemed impossible. Because who I was as an athlete was rooted in what I believed in myself more than what past results showed.
And if you’re new to this story…there is no fairytale ending with a perfect age group win at my first attempt. I’ve raced four full Ironman races since I set that goal and I have yet to be on the top step. But that’s the most important part. My self-belief continues to grow, not shrink. I believe in myself and my abilities more now than I did then. And I now have three Ironman podium finishes. I am still creating my first of many Ironman age group wins. My goal fuels me daily; with enthusiasm, not pressure.

Daily video trainings delivered to your inbox
Day 1: We’ll kick off by talking about what holds you back from believing in yourself (fear!) and then we’ll deep dive into how you can stop letting fear hold you back
Day 2: Brains are designed to survey the past to inform what you are capable of in the future. But this will keep you stuck in only what you’ve already accomplished. One Day 2 we’ll talk about what you need to do to change this.
Day 3: We’ll talk about the evidence based psychology research on why and when people give up. And then finish with the #1 thought you need to believe to keep going.
Daily writing prompts to integrate what you learn from the videos (both the video and writing prompts will not take more than 15min each day)
One hour long LIVE group coaching call to bring it all together. I will coach you on any questions or obstacles and show you how to take what you learned and integrate it in you your daily training and life.
