Next stop: Montana!

Fall is my most favorite season of all. Mother Nature spoils us with beautiful seasonal colors as the leaves change, as well as spectacular snow capped mountains {if you're lucky to live in a place where a light snow falls in late September!}; fall is also a natural transitional phase. It's as if Mother Nature gives us the permission to shed a layer of ourselves. And every time we do, we get to grow more and more into the best version of ourselves.

It's been a whirlwind of a month. With my race at 70.3 Worlds and Danny's Ironman two weeks apart in September, it feels as though we've been moving through time so quickly without making space for reflection. But it's time to reflect because our world is about to change in big ways! The underlying theme: if you're not changing, you're not growing.

Currently, we're on a flight to London where we'll catch another plane to our final destination: Croatia! #pinchme Feeling so so grateful. I will not lose the sense of gratitude I feel in this moment for the opportunity I've had to travel this year, both while racing triathlon and this trip to Croatia.

When we return, the whirlwind continues as we transition our lives to becoming Montana residents. Danny and I both have incredible opportunities in Montana that make us inspired to uproot our lives from UT to MT! We will both continue to work in the same fields we do now, continuing our personal growth while utilizing our strengths...a win win!

Danny will be joining the small team at Physical Therapy Elite where he will work primarily with athletes, providing therapy in a one-on-one, patient centered way with his biggest focus being on the triathlon community. Something he's been wanting for years now. This change puts him in a position to work with a passionate team of just 2 others looking to disrupt the physical therapy world, building a new concept from the ground up! Will his transition be challenging? Yep! Will it be worth it? Most definitely. He'll be moving to Bozeman, MT late November to hit the ground running early December.

After over 3 years being a part of the growth of Orangetheory Fitness in Utah, I am beyond stoked to transition to spreading the love of all things orange in the Big Sky Country! The thing about OTF is this: we're not done yet. There are still so many lives to impact through this fitness movement. We have not scratched the surface of what's possible and this transition allows me to have a greater part in the development of more studios. I have come to love the challenge of growing something new, and my heart and soul just want more of that. Additionally, my journey with OTF has been solely on the operations side thus far. While I will continue my focus on operations while adding in business development, I will also finally make my way inside the glass as a coach! Will my transition be challenging? Yep. Will it be worth it? Absolutely. Anything worth having takes work and dedication. I will be moving to Billings, MT in 2 weeks to be a part of an already rad team that's been hard at work since May. After the Billings studio is open and kicking ass, I will join Danny in Bozeman, MT to open another mountain town OTF studio #stoked

We will miss everything and everyone that has made Utah great over the last several years. We absolutely love Salt Lake City and will be back to visit, especially when the cold gets to be too much to handle :) To our #bamfam: we'll see you in the pool or out on the road; in SLC, St. George, California or maybe we can make a strong argument for a camp in Bozeman :) To all my loves at #otfsaltlakecity #otfparkcity and #otfsugarhouse: thanks for making my last few days dreamy; full of fun, sweaty workouts, and laughter. Thanks for being the greatest team a girl could hope for. See you again. Thanks Jill, Lucas, and Tempe for bringing OTF to Utah, making my love affair with the people and the impact of this orange movement possible.

As my dear friend Sam Pike taught me years ago: do big things, breathe easy.

To the thrill of the new.

XO.
